Press Release Content Fujitsu Siemens Computers has combined state-of-the-art technology and precious design in its latest “AMILO Si 2636 notebook - a combination that is said to drive sales and increase the company’s market share in the region. The AMILO Si 2636 was presented for the first time to the public at the Fujitsu Siemens Computers trade fair VIS IT 2007 in November. “Today, the two qualities of superior mobility and innovative style must go hand-in-hand.
This small, stylish all-rounder is one of the biggest from a technical viewpoint,” said Haseeb Soleja, product marketing manager - volume products, Fujitsu Siemens Computers. “The AMILO Si 2636 is targeted at the style conscious mobile users. The glossy black cover with red design elements is sure to be an eye catcher for both men and women.
Not only does its smart appearance look fantastic on a desk, but also its weight and size make it an ideal companion when taken on the road.” Through its small form factor, slightly bigger than an A4 sheet and weighing only 2.3 kilos, the AMILO Si 2636 fits into the fullest briefcase or handbag. Its battery lasts up to five hours and the integrated, significantly more powerful n-draft WLAN standard makes it the perfect mobility tool.
The 13.3 WXGA BrilliantView display provides brilliant colors, high definition and impressive contrast. The built-in array microphone eliminates unwanted background noise to ensure crystal clear voice transmission. An integrated 1.3 Megapixel webcam makes it convenient to chat with friends or call relatives through the Internet. In addition to the standard USB connections, the AMILO Si 2636 has an external connection for a SATA hard disk.
