Nokia Siemens Networks to supply equipment for Turkmenistan cellular communication network

The ministry of communication of Turkmenistan is to sign a contract with Finnish-German company Nokia Siemens Networks for procurement of equipment for 100 thousand numbers of the national cellular communication network. The total cost of the contract is US $ 9,2 million. As the Ashgabat correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru was told in the ministry of communication, the above mentioned equipment will be launched in June this year.
Let us recall that Nokia Siemens Networks was set up as a subsidiary of Siemens AG and Nokia companies in 2007. The company is involved in production of telecommunication equipment for landline and cellular communication operators.
