Nokia Siemens Networks wins HSDPA technology order from Telenor s Danish unit

HELSINKI, Dec. 5, 2007 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) — Nokia (NYSE:NOK) Siemens (NYSE:SI) Networks said it has won an order to upgrade the 3G mobile network of Sonofon, the Danish unit of Norway’s Telenor, with High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) technology to boost data transmission speeds. The value of the order was not disclosed. Nokia Siemens Networks is a joint venture between Finland’s Nokia and Germany’s Siemens. Copyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
