The project is already in a “friendly user phase,” with about 1,000 subscribers taking part in the trial. Included in the deal is the MSC Server mobile softswitching solution with VoIP server functionality, as well as the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), which will enable T2 Slovenia to introduce new IP-based voice and multimedia services.
The contract also covers planning and implementation services, a network and service management system as well as the actual operation of the network by Nokia Siemens Networks. T-2 is an alternative provider of telecommunications services in Slovenia, offering triple play services on its VDSL and FTTH networks.
