Siemens to buy heat-recovery steam generator business of Balcke Duerr Austria

FRANKFURT, Dec. 7, 2007 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) — Siemens (NYSE:SI) AG has reached an agreement with Balcke-Duerr GmbH Deutschland to acquire the heat-recovery steam generator business of Vienna-based Balcke Duerr Austria GmbH. No financial details were disclosed.
